Skyrim: Pieces of the Past — Where to Start and Rewards

Pieces of the Past has one standard starting method. It requires level 20. This guide shows where to begin and what rewards are available from each outcome.

Ways to Start

The quest has one standard starting method.

  1. Receive the museum invitation from a courier

    A courier can approach you in a town, city, or other major settlement and deliver an invitation to Silus Vesuius' museum in Dawnstar. The quest starts when the courier gives you the invitation.

Prerequisites

  • Reach level 20

    The quest becomes available once the player reaches level 20.

Rewards

Kill Silus

  • Mehrunes' Razor

    A unique Daedric artifact.

Spare Silus

  • 500 gold

  • Leveled gold

  • Access to the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon interior.

  • Word of Power: Dismay
